Jago Studios released a trailer and some images for the new Garbage Pail Kids game available for Android and IOS gamers.
No Clue About Garbage Pail Kids Cards, Let me Explain
Picture it, middle 1980’s, a goofy kid wanted to pay $1 for 20 Garbage Pail Kids cards and 4 sticks of horrible chewing gum. These cards were not like baseball cards which were fun to collect too. No sir, these cards royally pissed off grownups and for that, they will remain priceless.
Let me describe the times a wee bit better. There were no internet, social media, on-demand videos, or cell phones to distract us between school and home life. Basically, it was hanging out, read a book, go see a movie, watch T.V., play a board game, play a sport, or just be bored.
Currently Under Development, Garbage Pail Kids Game for Android and IOS
“We are thrilled to share original artwork from GPK: The Game with fans of the notorious 80s brand and attendees at Comicon,” said Stuart Drexler, Jago Studios founder, and chief executive officer. “Our first trailer will also give fans an exciting preview of what’s to come in the game.”
During Comic-Con San Diego 2018, fans were treated to a sneak peek as to what the new Android and IOS game might look like as well as a free Garbage Pail Kids cards which also probably hinted at the new game. The reason why I say this is if you view the provided trailer and blink you might miss it.
“We love connecting with GPK fans and are excited to give them a first taste of battle,” said Stuart Drexler, Jago Studios founder, and CEO. “We look forward to sharing more details about the game as development progresses.”
